If you are leaving the public service or retiring, you can still retain your FDA or ARC membership.
As an FDA Honorary Associate or retired member, you will receive email newsletters, Public Service Magazine each quarter and access to the members' area of the FDA website. You will also receive the FDA diary and calendar.
If you are no longer eligible to be an FDA member - for example, if you are leaving the public sector for the private service - you can become an Honorary Associate member.
The payment for Honorary Associate membership is £2.50 per month, payable by Direct Debit.
If you are retiring, you can take out FDA life membership for a one-off payment of eighteen times your monthly subscription.
On retirement, ARC members are eligible to become life members with a one-off payment of £250.
For more information, or if you would like to become an Honorary Associate or retired member, please contact the membership department at membership@fda.org.uk or on 020 7401 5590.
