For Fast Streamers the first six months of membership are absolutely free.
The FDA is the only union that campaigns on behalf of Fast Streamers in the Civil Service.
In addition to the usual benefits such as individual advice and representation, the FDA also provides the following specifically for our Fast Stream members:
The Fast Stream Network
This gives Fast Streamers an opportunity to network and talk over issues with other Fast Stream members across departments, and the FDA national officer responsible for the Fast Stream. Issues can then be raised by Fast Stream reps at the FDA's regular meetings with the Cabinet Office.
Fast Stream social events
The best-known is the FDA Fast Stream Ball. More information about the 2010 ball, which was held on Saturday 13 November at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in central London, can be read on the Fast Stream web pages at FDA Fast Stream Ball 2010.
How much does FDA membership cost?
The FDA currently operates a special discounted rate for our Fast Stream members of just £11.35 per month - and the first six months of membership are absolutely free.
