FDA Learn workshop on 4 July 2011

FDA Learn - the union's skills project - is holding a workshop for new and existing union learning reps (ULRs) on Monday 4 July 2011 at FDA head office, 8 Leake Street, London SE1 7NN.

The event, which runs from 10am-4pm and includes lunch, will provide information on FDA Learn generally, and the ULR role and personal benefits for members. An afternoon training session - Training for Advisers and Mentors on Supporting Learners into Higher Education - will look at work-based higher education and how people can be helped to research and plan their own progression at work. This session will be delivered by Foundation Degree Forward and Union Learn (TUC).
