The FDA banner - along with many other union banners - was carried at the front of the Pride London parade, which marched through central London on Saturday 2 July. The parade takes place each year, to celebrate diversity and raise awareness of discrimination and issues affecting the lives of LGBT people around the world.
FDA Executive Committee member Roland Zollner, who carried the banner during some of the parade, said: "It was a wonderful day, with great crowds and a marvellous reception for our banner on the march, celebrating all that has been achieved for LGBT equality. It is a reminder of the importance of continued vigilance to maintain and improve those achievements."
