The FDA Welsh Assembly Government branch Annual General Meeting took place in Cardiff on Friday 8 April. FDA president David Watts was the main speaker at the lunchtime meeting, which for the first time had a video conference link enabling members in Aberystwyth to take part.
Watts outlined the wide-ranging challenges currently facing the union, particularly in the areas of pay and pensions. Before the meeting, Watts met Dame Gill Morgan, permanent secretary at the Welsh Assembly Government.
