£53,000 - £66,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The FDA presents an exciting, unique opportunity to help drive and shape a dynamic, progressive trade union representing senior managers and professionals at the heart of government and the wider public sector.

Following the election of a new general secretary, two assistant general secretary roles are being created to provide key operational management roles and, together with the general secretary, will form FDA's new senior management team.

The successful applicants will be charged with managing the operational functions of the union including bargaining, organising and communications, as well as making a significant contribution to FDA's strategic planning, positioning and decision making.

In order to fill an existing vacancy, the union is also inviting applications for an experienced full-time negotiator wishing to join the FDA team.

All applicants will need to be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in their field of related expertise.
