The FDA's mentoring programme is seeking additional fast stream members to work with Middlesex University students considering a public sector career. This cross-public sector scheme also involves members of Managers in Partnership - the union for senior NHS managers.
Neil Rider, the FDA's skills project manager, said: "Currently, 42 fast streamers have signed up to help deliver the programme, but we are still looking for a small number of additional mentors.
"We are working with the Cabinet Office on this genuinely cross-public sector initiative, which also provides members with the opportunity to design and deliver a mock assessment centre for students and analyse the results."
FDA members who are interested in becoming a mentor should contact Sean Ruddy at sean@fda.org.uk.
