Recruitment events take place at Capita and Fast Stream conferences
Two further events took place last week as part of the FDA's dedicated Recruitment Month, which runs until the end of July.
On 21 and 22 July, FDA organiser Sacha Dutta and FDA national officer Caroline Milton spent two days at the Capita National Strategies Conference. Dutta said: "We had an information stand set up over two days, and an extremely well-attended members' meeting after the first day's business. During the conference, the branch welcomed its 200th member, who was rewarded with a bottle of champagne."
The FDA was also invited to have a stand at the Annual Fast Stream Conference in central London on Thursday 23 July. Milton said: "Many new members joined up, and existing members came to the FDA stand to encourage their colleagues to find out more. Events like these are important for recruitment - the FDA continues to be the voice for fast streamers, and membership continues to grow."
