Take part in the FDA's Working Hours Survey 2018

We've launched our 2018 Working Hours Survey to coincide with the TUC's Work Your Proper Hours Day and we want to hear about your experience of working excess hours and the impact this has on your work/life balance.

The survey can be accessed here: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FDA-WHS-2018

Work Your Proper Hours Day, taking place on 23 February 2018, is the day when the average person who does unpaid overtime finishes the unpaid days they do every year and starts earning for themselves.

UK workers put in a total of two billion unpaid hours in 2017, giving their employers more than £31 billion worth of unpaid overtime.
Long hours are not good for us; they cause stress; they're bad for our health; they wreck relationships; and they make caring for children or dependents more difficult.

We recognise that this is becoming an acute issue for members, who are facing increasing workloads and pressure to work beyond contracted hours.

So please take a few minutes to fill out the Working Hours Survey, as we will use the results to raise issues with employers and inform our work to improve your working conditions.
