The FDA is running a training event for union learning representatives (ULRs) and other interested members on 30 July 2009. The event will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm at the FDA's London head office.
The day will include sessions on negotiating skills and coaching, provided by Westminster Explained; and career coaching sessions will also be available. Sam Mitha, HM Revenue and Customs SCS member, will speak on Professional Skills for Government and how it relates to members in the SCS.
Neil Rider, FDA Professional Skills for Government project manager, said: "We are delighted that Sam Mitha is speaking as we are constantly seeking to improve the offer to our ULRs and other interested members."
