Unions to hold a lobby of Parliament over ‘money bill’ concerns

The FDA, together with Prospect, Unite and GMB, will be holding a lobby of Parliament on Thursday 9 September 2010 - to raise concerns with MPs of all parties about the planned 'money bill' being used to cap payments under the Civil Service Compensation Scheme.

The bill receives its second reading on Tuesday 7 September and will then be considered in committee. We do not expect it to complete its Parliamentary passage until mid- to late-October at the earliest.

For more details, including a guide to lobbying Parliament, please go to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme area of the FDA website. You will need to log in to access this page.
