Civil Service Learning - the new organisation devoted to facilitating learning and development across all civil service grades - has produced a practical resource, Your Guide to Learning in the Workplace. It will be of particular use to union learning reps (ULRs) and those managing teams.
The guide provides a way to find out about your personal learning style, offers links to learning resources and a monthly blog.
Neil Rider, FDA Learn project manager, said: "Research shows that only 10% of what we learn comes through formal courses and classes - and we would encourage members to access and use the guide."
Rider added: "Civil Service Learning has said the role of ULRs will be crucial in developing a partnership around learning, and if anyone is interested in becoming a ULR for the FDA they can contact me at neil@fda.org.uk."
To access the guide, go to www.civilservice.gov.uk/learning, where you will first need to register.
