LGBT+ Network

The FDA LGBT+ Network is committed to supporting and championing LGBT+ members from across public service.

The network provides a space for members to meet, identify the challenges facing the LGBT+ community and find ways to resolve these issues.

The cross-departmental network also explores possible events and opportunities that can help develop LGBT+ individuals’ careers.

The next LGBT+ Network meeting will be held 4-5pm, 15 May at FDA HQ. To attend this or for details about dialling into the meeting, email equalitymatters@fda.org.uk

As part of its preparations for the International Day of Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), the network would like to hear from members who have experienced or witnessed the bullying, harassment or discrimination of LGBT+ colleagues. If you are happy to share your experiences, or ideas best practice to preventing or responding to such instances, please get in touch via equalitymatters@fda.org.uk. If you are happy to be interviewed please indicate this when replying.

For more information and to get involved email equalitymatters@fda.org.uk.
