Associate membership
FDA offer associate membership to those retiring from or leaving the civil service
We believe that public services matter and throughout our history we have championed civil service values of integrity, honesty, objectivity, and impartiality. We know our members also care deeply about these values and embody in their professional lives, which is one of the reasons why we offer associate membership to those retiring from or leaving their roles in the civil, diplomatic and public service.
Associate members may access advice on pensions, retirement planning, tax, and certain other matters connected with their previous public service.
They can also enjoy the continuing benefits, schemes and offers of FDA Portfolio and FDA Learn.
Current members of the FDA who wish to become associate members, should email membership@fda.org.uk to request the change in status and service level.

Member discounts
As soon as you become a member of the FDA, you are automatically eligible to access FDA Portfolio. The average FDA member could save £692.04 per year by using a handful of benefits available.
