Assertiveness and resilience

Wednesday 23 September, 1pm – 2pm

This session will take a look at some basic assertiveness techniques that can help you get your point across more effectively and say what you really want to say in a calm and effective manner.  We will link that up with a look at personal resilience and some suggestions about how to become more resilient in a way that helps you feel stronger and more confident.

Working with neurodivergent strengths

Friday 25 September, 11am – 12:30pm

This strengths-based session focuses on recognising and harnessing the unique skills that neurodivergent people bring. It offers practical ideas for role design, feedback and collaboration so that individuals and teams can benefit from diverse ways of thinking. 

Managing overwhelm and getting organised

Thursday 1 October, 11am – 12:30pm

A calm, practical session on how to deal with overwhelm when there is “too much to do and think about” and how to get more organised without aiming for perfection. Participants will learn simple tools for breaking tasks down, prioritising, planning their week and creating small routines that make life feel more manageable. 

Planning for early/phased retirement

Monday 5 October, 11am – 12pm

This session will cover practical options for planning for early/phased retirement to get you thinking about your own situation, rather than the provision of advice in view of financial advice regulations. 

Dealing with survivor guilt after redundancies
