FDA signs partnership agreement with Transport for Wales

The FDA and other trade unions have signed a partnership agreement with Transport for Wales.
The FDA’s National Officer for Wales Jane Runeckles welcomed the agreement, saying: “Following a year of discussions with Transport for Wales, the FDA was delighted to formally sign the partnership agreement on Friday 20 March 2026 with Transport for Wales and the other unions representing members involved in the delivery of transport across Wales.
“This is a specific example of social partnership that has been developed over twenty years in Wales and has only been delivered thanks to the ongoing commitment from government, employers and the close collaborative relationship that trade unions have with each in Wales.
“This agreement provides the FDA with a unique opportunity to work with Transport for Wales to shape industrial relations in the long term, organise around key workforce issues, recruit new members to the FDA and demonstrate the benefits that recognition within the workplace will bring to them.”
The FDA’s Head of Organising and Learning Deri Bevan attended the formal signing on behalf of the FDA alongside Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport, Ken Skates MS.
